Check Canadensys for range records of species in Canada

I downloaded the app this morning, and immediately noticed a number of species listed for my city which do not occur in my city or province. For example, black hawthorn (Crataegus douglasii) is not found in Winnipeg, nor in Manitoba. It is a western species that gets only as far east as western Saskatchewan. Crataegus chrysocarpa is the common species here. Likewise, only one species of sumac is found in southern Manitoba, and it is uncommon.
