Distance

While I appreciate the default setting of 50 miles in the app, for some (especially those in larger metropolitan areas) that may mean still inside the city at the edge of the 50 mile limit. I don’t know about you, but there are some things that I would go the distance for. Like elderberries. Just watched your video on that. I’m sold! Then downloaded the app. But there aren’t any within 50 miles. Could you make it the default distance and allow the user to make it larger? Getting out there and going foraging will spark this fire that lights the movement. If I had to drive 150 miles to get elderberries, chances are very good that after a short period of time that on the way I will eventually able to identify more that I had missed previously and thus will be adding additional locations over time. Just have to get those first couple steps and momentum going. Great job, and thank you for all your efforts and information you are sharing. I especially appreciate the are you sure you want to click away pop up for iPhone. You are a visionary! No one else has done that yet and I constantly have to start over because of a click where I didn’t mean to click and it’s so frustrating!! Visionary. I mean that, bro!
